Well, meet our winner: Amanda Clark!

We had the pleasure of meeting Amanda and asked her a few things about her biggest passion, makeup! Check out our little interview below!

INTERVIEW

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Well, I'm a mother of three boys. I was born and raised in California but I'm currently living in Oklahoma. I love makeup and I'm really into learning everything I can about it. I like to buy a lot of it, even if isn't for my skin tone!

Q: Really? Why is that?

I do it because that way I can give it away to friends and family when they come visit. Everyone knows they'll never leave my house empty-handed (laughs). I love teaching others about makeup because not everyone is brave enough to ask for tips. I believe makeup is about building confidence and inspiring others.

Q: So how did you hear about BuyMeBeauty?

I'm a big makeup fan and I'm always looking for new places to buy it from. I probably found you guys during one of those times I was looking for discontinued makeup.

Q: What are some discontinued products you miss?

I'm not one to usually get attached to a specific brand or product. I like to collect all different kinds, I'm always trying something new. But I do miss Two-Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation. It smelled so good, like real cocoa! I loved it. I can't find it anywhere anymore.

Q: What are some of your favorite brands?

Uh, there are so many! I absolutely love Milani. Specially their lip glosses. L'Oreal, Maybelline, Rimmel, etc.

Q: If you could have an unlimited supply of a specific product which one would it be, and why?

It would be Physician's Formula bronzers and blushes. They're really good quality and smell great.

Q: Tell us about your everyday makeup routine. How long does it take you to get ready?

Well, I'm a busy mom and I'm always on-the-go. I can totally get ready in less than 20-30 minutes. But if I have to get ready for a night out, I can take up to 3 hours.

Q: Do you have any makeup tips you'd like to share with us?

There's this one thing I do to keep my makeup looking flawless all day, even through heat and dry weather. 

Always prime your skin before applying foundation. While the foundation is still wet on your skin, apply Makeup Setting Spray and then Powder makeup all over it. Never fails me!
